Low Ticket Vs. High Ticket Affiliate Offers


Most businesses that provide products and services have low ticket and high ticket products and with affiliate marketing is no different. Let’s take a look at high ticket vs. low ticket product so you can determine what is better for your business.


Low Ticket

Low ticket products can range from $10 to around $300 in price. Commissions for low ticket products usually range from 4% up to 30%. When it comes to access and startup cost low ticket products tend to be free to access and don’t typically come with any associated start up fees.

Because of their low price points low ticket products tend to be easier to sell. More people will be willing to open their wallets and shell out some cash but on the flip side because commissions are so low you’ll have to make a lot of sales if you ever plan on reaching any financial goals you may have.

  • ClickBank (most products)

  • Warrior Plus



Amazon is a prime example. Most products on amazon give you around 4% commissions per sale and as you can see from the screen shot above 6 items were purchased from my link $56 was spent and of that $56 i made $2.40. It would take thousands of products being sold to make a decent amount of income monthly.


Before I continue Think about this for a second. Let’s say your goal was to make 10,000 a month, how would you go about it? Would you rather sell 1,000 products at a $10 commission or would you rather sell 10 high ticket products That net you $1000 commission each?


High Ticket


High ticket product usually start around $500 and you can sometimes see affiliate products reach well above $2000. High ticket products can have commissions ranging from 30% all the way up to 70%. Getting access to high ticket affiliate products isn't as easy as getting access to low ticket products. With most high ticket product you may be required to invest some money into the product first or have a good level of experience before you get access to it.


Something to consider when trying to promote high ticket products is that it's going to be a bit more difficult to get a sale off of cold traffic. It’s going to require you to have built a level of trust with your audience before you put a high ticket product in front of their faces. It may be best to focus on paid ads with Facebook and google. You can use these platforms to specifically target the people looking for these types of products. This also means you’ll be spending some more money. The upside to promoting high ticket products is that you may be able to shorten the time it takes for you to reach your financial goals.

There’s no right or wrong when it comes to choosing high ticket or low ticket products. You can make money with both methods. It really just comes down to preference and what you feel more comfortable promoting.
